Automotive Division Product Specialists
The candidates must be punctual, reliable, well organized, highly self motivated, possess good judgement, have excellent communication skills and be able to work within a team environment. Previous sales experience would be considered an asset but is not a requirement. We will provide initial and ongoing training for the successful candidate to become a top producer. Salmon Arm Honda is a Honda Powerhouse Dealership offering sales, service and parts for our Auto and MC/ATV Power equipment divisions. Position Overview:
Promotes and sells the full range of Honda/Acura vehicles. Works with customers to understand their needs and delivers exceptional customer service. Develops and maintains lasting relationships based on trust and integrity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a prompt, courteous manner.
Assist customers in selecting a vehicle.
Be knowledgeable about Honda/Acura vehicles.
Be able to explain technical features, options, and their benefits.
Understand and perform a professional walk around presentation at different stages of the sales process.
Keep current on product knowledge.
Learn and understand paperwork required for the sale and delivery of a vehicle.
Create a customer base through effective contact methods.
Provide service and individual attention to customers.
Meet or exceed sales targets as set out by the Sales Manager.
Keep detailed records of all interactions with customers.
Attend sales meetings when scheduled.
Follow sales process as described in Customer Centered Selling e-Learning course.
Participate in training when appropriate courses are offered.
Ability to make prospecting calls and follow-up with customers within specific time-frames.
